Finding motivation

How do you stay motivated to run or exercise as a solo? Since I started working from home, I haven't been able to find a consistent way to stay motivated to run.

I set goals for myself. At a minimum, I will strength train 2x a week and run 3x a week. I write these goals down in my weekly calendar, and I put check boxes by them. I like seeing all the boxes checked!

Most of my training is solo anyways... but I rather train alone than be under-trained for an event.

If you truly dislike working out alone, try classes at your gym. Check out group runs sponsored by local running clubs (most clubs don't require membership to join in on group runs)
